Working with the youth for the past 3 years has taught me one thing: I have turned into my mother. The realization was unsettling at first. What child wants to know that they turned into the person that they were seeking independence from ( a good portion of my life ) and now I say “It’s not so bad!”. Those “I told you so” googly eyes has been lodged into my DNA, unsuspected and comes out just as quietly. Now I’ve accepted it. Fight all I want, it won’t change much, it is already within me. You will always find yourself naked in a room full of people when you’re an artist. Theoretically speaking, of course. There is no way you can not show that most vulnerable side of yourself whether you wanted to or not. The crowd may fall for the idea that artists having the most confidence than everyone but that may be more farther from the truth. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Let this year health, wealth and some much needed relaxation…
This past 2 weekends has been a great example of people coming together here in Montreal. To become The Greatest Champ of All Time. (more…)

Me and my beau rode off into the sunset, wind blowing through my fro, the bass bumping in the back seat. A summer day’s and night’s dream. A perfect way to kick off summer. I will call it “La La Land”, now that I know it exists, and it can anywhere in the world just as long stress is left behind. With great people around to enrich my life, easy to say but travelling does the body and mind good! I will advise, it may be beyond your reach, TRAVEL, whatever you can do to expand, TRAVEL and whatever you can to meet people from different lands, TRAVEL. (more…)
